A Malibu Sunset

The late afternoon autumn sky radiated a magnificent, spectacular color burst of Cotton Candy pink, awesome shades of gold, crimson, and orange, all framed and enhanced by a vivid royal blue sky.

And then, after a while, the brooding, creeping night time darkness, like some ancient alchemist, transformed the colors into smoky grey, before finally devouring them whole.
